The holidays often bring upon us the perfect storm: immovable timelines, variations in schedule, an uptick in social engagements, and emotions galore. We often change our usual routines in order to fit everything in… and this in itself ends up contributing to the challenges. Today, we begin our 6-day journey with ritual: a short routine to connect ourselves back to Body, to Self, and to the Earth in order to recenter, reorient, and re-establish some rhythm in our days.
Have a folded towel or blanket or a cushion nearby. Two blocks (or full toilet paper rolls or cans) may help bring the floor closer in our standing poses as well.
