Dealing with a knee injury or recovering from knee replacement surgery can be difficult. If you're experiencing pain and swelling, you may feel discouraged. Rest assured, this video is here to help!
Stephanie will guide you through gentle movements to increase knee mobility and activate the surrounding muscles. These exercises will help you stay active and continue on your recovery path.
Level 1 is for those who are having trouble moving at all - ++ pain!
Tip: You can do these as often as you can tolerate during these first few days of excruciating pain, whether three or five times or even more a week.
Tools needed: chair, towel, belt, foam roller (optional) or can
1 x 45sec
Standing weight shifting
Seated heel slides
Sit to stand
Supine heel slides
Quads activation - place towel under knee and push knee cap down
Quad over roll - use can or towel or pillow
Mini bridge
Hamstring stretch with belt
Knee slide with belt
